Brooke Gladstone

Brooke Gladstone is host and managing editor of NPR's "On The Media," a weekly, one-hour radio program that discusses the influence of media and how it shapes society. Gladstone first joined NPR in 1987 as senior editor of "Weekend Edition Saturday," and later assumed the same role for "All Things Considered." Gladstone is also the recipient of two Peabody Awards, a National Press Club Award, an Overseas Press Club Award, and several others. She is the author of The Influencing Machine, a media manifesto in graphic form.
