Take a Shot at Changing the World

For two decades, I worked as a screenwriter on films and television. But in 2010, I was moved to produce a film featuring first-hand interviews telling the story of Dr. Jonas Salk and his research team. I wanted to tell the story of how they – along with the entire nation – pulled together to conquer the most-feared disease of the 20th century: polio.
