This week, Nangarhar province observed a National Immunization Day (NID). NIDs are observed several times a year all over the country where the
polio vaccine is distributed at the clinics in the participating provinces. We were given the opportunity to participate in the NID with Dr. Wakil Sangeen of
Rotary’s Polio Plus Office in Afghanistan.
