Yesterday, the Gates Foundation partnered on a "hackathon" at Facebook headquarters for the College Knowledge Challenge to develop ideas for web-based tools to help students prepare for and get into college. $2.5 million is up for grabs for anyone with a big idea that can help more students get into college.
