#HackCollege2.0: Three New Facebook Apps to Help Students Get Into College

Yesterday, the Gates Foundation, Facebook and College Summit co-hosted the second annual education-focused hackathon at Facebook’s Menlo Park campus. The event brought together education experts and some of the world’s best developers. Twenty-four teams spent the day brainstorming and building apps that will help make the college-going process easier to understand and navigate, especially for low-income students.
