I wanted to say how grateful I am to everyone who participated in TEDxChange on Monday. It was amazing to see the examples of how the Millennium Development Goals are working to save millions of lives—and to hear from my fellow speakers about how we can innovate in order to do even more.
Just after TEDxChange concluded, I wanted to share my thoughts on how the event went from my perspective:
In case you missed TEDxChange yesterday, please view the full webcast and help us share the incredible stories we heard—including those of the “revolutionary optimists” and their work to eradicate polio.
As I’ve said in the months leading up to TEDxChange, this is only the beginning.
I know that so many TEDx organizers put in so many hours to make their events a success, and I’m grateful for your help as you engage in these crucial conversations about the MDGs in your communities around the world. Here are some photos from our event in New York, as well as from our TEDx friends around the world
We are partners in this work, and with that in mind, I’d like to hear what you thought of the event. If we were to convene again around these issues, what would you most like to see next time? Please add your comment below, or join the discussion on our Facebook page.
