In January, we held our first TEDxChange salon, in Kibera, Nairobi. It was inspiring for me to meet the community there and hear their perspectives on health and development. I’d like to thank them for the exceptional conversation.

We are posting talks from our speakers this week, along with excerpts from the discussion. I also wanted to share a few thoughts from that day, as I looked ahead to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, later that week.
Update: We have another TEDxChange event coming up next week, March 22, in India. In partnership with TEDxDelhi, we will bring together some of the leading thinkers and doers to examine innovative approaches to safeguarding the health of mothers and young children.
