Nidhi was the Chief Marketing Officer at National Commodities and Derivatives Exchange Ltd, India’s largest agricultural futures platform. She was also instrumental in starting the hit Sunday TV show – “mandi.com” - on public broadcasting channel Doordarshan Kisan that explained best practices in post-harvest marketing by capturing the success stories of progressive farmers in 29 states.
Nidhi also served as CEO of NCDEX Institute of Commodities Research, a non-profit think-tank and school that specializes in professional certificate courses, research in agricultural markets, and development of case studies.
Nidhi is an expert on the Reserve Bank of India panel for Food Inflation Research and Management.
Previously, Nidhi was the Commodities Editor of The Economic Times, and wrote a popular column “Something Fresh” giving an inside view of business and policy action in farming, food and related markets. She also blogs for Huffington Post.
 
Nidhi is a Chevening scholar and alumnus of Indian School of Business, Kellogg School of Management, and the Wharton School, where she attended courses for senior executives.
