Life in a refugee camp is hard enough with out having to worry about malaria, but for the families in camps in the South Sudan -- where malaria is the leading cause of death for children under five -- it's a constant worry. Thankfully, malaria is preventable. The United Nations Foundation's Nothing But Nets campaign is determined to send 100,000 bed nets to the South Sudan by April 25th. Why April 25th? Because it's a day for recognizing the global effort to fight malaria. It's World Malaria Day.
But there's never a bad time to take a stand and take action to save millions of childrens' lives from a preventable - and treatable - disease.
Protecting a child is only a click or two away.
