Concert-goers Crowdfund Justice for Girls and Women

March 26, 2013

Today, CHIME FOR CHANGE—a global campaign to raise funds and awareness for girls and women around the world—announced THE SOUND OF CHANGE LIVE . Headlined by Beyoncé, this concert event will take place on Saturday, June 1, at London’s Twickenham Stadium and will be televised and webcast around the world.

THE SOUND OF CHANGE LIVE is a game-changer. It’s the first time ever that concert-goers will have the opportunity to choose exactly where their donations go. Gucci is covering all costs of the concert, which will allow ticket buyers to donate the full value of their tickets toward any project on Catapult.

Buy your ticket for THE SOUND OF CHANGE LIVE (on sale starting at 9 a.m. GMT Wednesday, March 27). This is the perfect opportunity to attend a fun concert, get inspired and donate to justice for girls and women around the world!

Don’t worry—if you can’t go to London for the concert, you can still watch the event on TV or online on June 1. And you can participate by joining CHIME FOR CHANGE ambassadors on Catapult, inviting your friends, and donating to their featured projects: join Team Beyoncé Knowles Carter, Team Salma Hayek Pinault or Team Frida Giannini.

Catapult is honored to be the exclusive giving partner of CHIME FOR CHANGE and to power THE SOUND OF CHANGE LIVE concert. This opportunity enables us to harness the power of crowdfunding to help support the work of people on the front lines of justice for girls and women.

Make some noise, then turn that noise into action! Whether it is working to teach Afghan girls to read via their mobile phones, placing pregnant mothers in community birthing homes closer to health clinics, providing access to family planning for young women, working with boys to end violence against women, or taking a stand that child marriage is just never OK.

Join a team. Invite your friends. Fund meaningful change for girls and women.
